Ray Cocozza brings two things to the leadership of Conveyco Technologies. The first is a lifetime of hands-on knowledge of the business, learned side by side with his father, Frank, one of Conveyco’s co-founders. The second is formal training in both the technical and the operational sides of the industry.
Over three decades at Conveyco, Ray has worked in nearly every of the business including: parts, controls engineering, marketing, project engineering, estimating, sales, finance, operations, and software. That breadth gives him a working understanding of how every project is designed, sold, built, and supported.
Under Ray’s leadership, Conveyco has grown from a conveyor integrator into an advanced systems integrator. Alongside its core engineering and integration work, the company now offers in-house controls engineering, its industry-leading New Dawn Warehouse Execution Software, RightFIT data-driven solution design, and ConveycoCare Lifetime Services that support customers long after go-live. Conveyco remains privately held and family-owned, which keeps its decisions focused on customers rather than outside investors.
Ray holds a B.S. in Computer Science and Engineering from Central Connecticut State University and an M.S. in Organizational Leadership from the Quinnipiac University School of Business, where he graduated with high honors.
Ray was named to the Hartford Business Journal’s 40 Under Forty in recognition of his leadership in the Connecticut business community.
Outside the office, Ray is a guitarist and lifelong music lover who treasures time and shared experiences with his family. He is passionate about mentoring others and about exploring how technology and AI will shape the next generation of supply chain operations.
